I don’t know about you but I am naturally a messy person. It takes hard work to keep a space clean. The reason why it can be so difficult to keep your room clean is because the lack of systems (strategy) within your home. In addition to a lack of strategy is a lack of having a schedule that you stick to to clean your space.

What Is The Correct Order To Clean A Room?

The correct order to clean your room will always be from top to bottom. This could mean by cleaning your ceiling fan, windows, then making your last task clearing and vacuuming the floor. While there is not necessarily a wrong way to clean a room. There will be different expectation for what is “clean” to the expectation you might have. As you clean the space from dirt it is essential to also organizing the space properly to prevent future messy spaces.

Before you get start, set yourself up for success by creating a space that motivates you to complete the task start to finish. If there is a podcast you have been wanting to listen to or a show you want to watch then is the perfect opportunity to listen/watch as you manage cleaning the room. This will make time go faster and distract your mind from having to complete a most often overwhelming task.
