Moms will go through many different season and in different seasons it calls for new ways to be encouraged and uplifted. You Mama are not meant to hold all things in your life on your shoulders. Give the things that keep you up at night, bring the things that make you worry and anxious to the Lord. As his word says he will sustain you. He will give you relief as your guide.

#1. Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22.

Day after day we spend time with others doing things in this life that make it easy to compare ourselves to others. Especially, when seeing others highlight reels through our social media lens. As moms, we can easily get distracted by the patterns of the world and lose sight of our kingdom calling. The best way to stop the distraction is being engaged in the Word of God. So we can have discernment of what is good pleasing and in the perfect will of God.

#2. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2.

You might be struggling a ton. In these moments it can be helpful to serve others. In the mist of focusing on our own pain(which you still should address), it can be helpful to love one another as part of your healing.

#3. If we love one another, God remains in us and his love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:12. We take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5.

I can still remember when we brought our baby home from the hospital for the first time. Oh how nervous I was to take care of the baby all alone once my husband returned to work. I was so fearful of that day. I can honestly say I prayed the prayer from help from the Lord for every moment. Even as I learned to change his diaper, breastfeed, rest, and learn how to function in a new role as, mom. God did not let me down and he wont let you down either. He is out helper and the strength you need to get through the night.

In there growing will be good times and more challenging times when it comes to being a mother. We live in a temporary life here on earth yet every season is in perfect timing by God.

In every season, learn to seek God. So when times of trouble are near you know whos name to call to and lean on your firm foundation.

#9. The Lord is a refuge for the persecuted, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you because you have not abandoned those who seek you, Lord. Psalm 9:9-10.

Wether you are stressed about paying bills, having enough food on the table for your family. The Lord will provide all that you need.

#10. And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.

#11. Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4.

Do you ever feel like you are not on the right path? You second guess or question a lot if you’re in God will? Well if you surrender you life to him. Including all areas and your intentional with your relationship with God then you probably are on the right path. It can be easy to dwell in our minds of the things that we could be doing and lists that go on and on in our brains. But if we turn our hearts to Christ I believe he will establish our steps like his Word says.

#14. The Lord is the one who will go before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8.

#15. We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28.

The encouragement I give you Mama is to take these bible verses and right them on an index or flashcard. Use these flashcards when you face the struggles if motherhood. Bring them with you in your car or leave on your kitchen. There will be moments when motherhood seems so overwhelming. You never know when you are going to need a battle card to speak truth into your life in moments where you desperately need hope.
