Podcasts, podcasts, podcasts! Christian mom podcasts are all I started to listen to once I became a mother. Like most new moms, I googled everything to find the best of the best information about my baby and about motherhood. In the first few months of postpartum, I figured out how much harder motherhood was going to be than I imagined. From the outside looking in, being a stay at home mom looked like it would be easy. Wow, was I wrong!! Staying at home with kids has its own challenges and battles just like any other role. Yet, my perspective has change so much as I have grown and matured in my relationship with God and as I learn new things everyday as a mom. Regardless, if you’re a stay at home mom or a working mom we have a responsibility of raising up the next generation. Not just to raise the next generation in education and social skills but a deeper meaning of raising children that have a relationship with God and do as they are called to worship him.

The Great Commission:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 18-20.

Why does a Christian Mom need to listen to podcasts?

If you’re looking to gain wisdom from other Christian moms I highly recommend listening to the top 7 best podcasts for Christian moms. Motherhood is so important. As I mentioned earlier, raising children to follow the Lord is a huge responsibility. Podcasts like the ones listed below have been a great way to learn motherhood from other moms.

If there is one thing I learned right from the start of each of these podcasts is that you’re not alone. Being a mom can be isolating sometimes when it feels like you’re the only one taking on certain roles and tasks. But really so many other women are in the same boat you’re in and we need to be connected and be encouraged in the calling of motherhood that God has called us to.

Podcasts can be helpful tools for moms to listen in and decide what works best for their family. I like to share podcasts that I have come across to be helpful. However, nothing and no one is more helpful than Jesus! Since we live in a world that gives us so much information (like this blog post you’re reading) we have to makes decisions to fit our needs. I encourage you to always reflect and take the information you receive to the Lord. In other words, if something inspired you or sparked in interest in your heart. Be sure to pray about it before implementing it to your life.
