21 Amazing Christian Mom Quotes

Mamma Mia Greens

Christian Mom quotes are extremely helpful lean into being godly mothers. Motherhood is the sweetest gift from God. It is a job that he calls us to raise up his children. It is beautiful, full of joy, and also can be exhausting. All moms, including Christian moms need to be encouraged. As a mom you might feel like the work you are doing is unnoticed or unseen. You might ask yourself, “Is it even worth it?” You might be desperate for rest. We all need it. We can’t manage doing it all(at least that is what it feels like sometimes). Especially for moms who have littles. We need to be encouraged as mothers and also encourage other mothers. As Christian moms we have the opportunity to raise our children up to know the love of God and be in relationship with him. I pray for the next 21 Christian Mom quotes will spark inspiration and encouragement in your heart to keep going. But first give yourself some grace and keep up the good work Mama.

What does the Bible say about Mothers?

The Bible is full of women and mothers who raised up children to go in the direction of our Heavenly Father. Most of the quotes are referenced in biblical scripture. The book of proverbs is a wonderful book to read for a wife and mother to learn the ways to follow the Lord and role in the home. One of my favorite bibles to read through is the She Reads Truth Bible. As we read through the bible we can look to godly mothers like Mary and Elizabeth did beautiful work for the glory of God. We can read of their beautiful stories and incredible faith that we can mirror in our journey of motherhood. We can learn from them as we model a relationship with Jesus alongside our children and spouse.

“She watches over the ways of her household and meets every need they have.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

What are some good Christian mom quotes?

  4. “You have nothing to prove, but someone to please.” Unknown. This quote I heard from the pastor at my church. I can’t recall the name of the person that he was referencing who he had heard the quote from. We have nothing to prove as a mother. But we do have a God to please. Being a mom allows us to serve our beautiful family. We choose to do this because we love them. Even when times are hard we always go out of our way to serve them. But in all things we do this to serve God above all else. He is the one we get to please by the work being done as a homemaker.
  5. “For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made.” Psalm 139:13-14. You as a mother had a mother who carried you. The Lord knit YOU in your mother’s womb. Oh, he is so pleased with you.

How to use Christian mom quotes?

Aren’t these quotes amazing? I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I did. These quotes are full of truth. We should read and keep them close then just on this blog post. A few ways to continually be encouraged in your motherhood journey is to write these quotes and verses down. Journals are a great way to write down your favorite quotes. I have also found it helpful to write down quotes on sticky notes or on a flashcard. To be constantly reminded of truth and be encouraged is something that needs to be right in front of my face often for me to soak up. The best way for me to see these quotes are to place it in my home where I will see it. For example, you could put quotes or biblical scripture on your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, and above the washing machine. Some friends even put quotes or favorite scriptures as the screen saver on their phones. For right now my prayer wall is next to my rocking chair in my living room where I nurse my son. I know I will be there often so for me it is the perfect place to place these quotes.
